Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has announced a reduction of N15 in the price of its high-quality Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petrol.
In a statement released on Thursday, the company confirmed that following this latest reduction, Nigerians can now purchase petrol at the following prices: N875 per litre in Lagos; N885 per litre in the South West; N895 per litre in the North West and North Central; and N905 per litre in the South East, South South, and North East.
These prices will be effective across all its partner stations.
The refinery noted that its partners include MRS, AP, Heyden, Optima, TechnOil, and Hyde filling stations. It urged other marketers to join its growing network of partners, thereby supporting President Bola Tinubu’s Nigeria First policy, which promotes the prioritisation of locally-produced goods and services.
Since commencing operations, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has consistently implemented strategies aimed at reducing costs to provide tangible savings for Nigerians.
Earlier this year, in February 2025, the company executed two price reductions on petrol, resulting in a total decrease of N125 per litre. This was followed by an additional reduction of approximately N45 per litre in April.
Moreover, the prices of other essential products, such as diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), have also seen significant reductions, enhancing affordability across the transportation, industrial, and domestic energy sectors.
