President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved additional appointments to the Governing Councils of several Federal Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education across the country.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, were announced in a statement issued on Tuesday, May 28, 2025, by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the statement, the appointees will serve as members of the Governing Councils of their respective institutions, filling existing vacancies and strengthening the leadership of the nation’s tertiary education system.
