The Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator Austin Akobundu, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Abia Central and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha festival.
In his goodwill message, Senator Akobundu called on Muslims to draw inspiration from the core values of the celebration, emphasizing the importance of sacrifice, obedience, peace, and compassion.
“As our Muslim Ummah in Abia Central in particular and Nigeria as a whole join their counterparts from all over the world to celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha, I heartily felicitate with them and pray that this celebration will continue to inspire us with its lessons of sacrifice, obedience, peace, compassion, charity, generosity and harmonious living. And may it bring us peace, joy, and prosperity.”
