A former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and one-time Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Solomon Ewuga, has died. He passed away on Tuesday.
Ewuga, who also served as a federal lawmaker, was a prominent political figure in Nasarawa State. In December 2023, he formally joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) after defecting from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Until his death, Ewuga remained a respected elder statesman in the state’s political landscape. He had earlier served as Deputy Governor under former Governor Abdullahi Adamu.
