Powell Homes and Shelters Limited, a leading real estate firm, has issued a strong public warning against engaging in any business or transaction with one of its former employees, Mr. Anachuna Somtochukwu Emmanuel, over alleged acts of misrepresentation.
The company’s Managing Director, Architect Chibuikem Onyekachi Emmanuel, made this known in a statement released on Tuesday and shared with newsmen as well as published on the company’s official social media platforms.
He clarified that Mr. Anachuna Somtochukwu Emmanuel is no longer in the employment of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd and therefore has no authority to represent or transact on behalf of the company in any capacity.
“The individual above, Anachuna Somtochukwu Emmanuel, is not an employee of Powell Homes & Shelters Limited in Enugu or any of her branches,” the statement read.
Architect Emmanuel urged members of the public, clients, and business partners to exercise due diligence and verify the identity of anyone claiming to represent the company through its official communication channels.
He stressed that Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd will not be liable for any transaction or agreement entered into with the said individual, warning that anyone who deals with him does so entirely at their own risk.
“We advise the public to exercise due diligence and verify all claims of representation through our official communication channels before proceeding with any engagement. Your vigilance is essential in safeguarding your investments and ensuring you only deal with authorised personnel,” the notice stated.
The company reiterated its commitment to transparency and professionalism in all its dealings, assuring clients and partners that only verified and authorised staff are permitted to conduct transactions on its behalf.
“We are not associated with Anachuna Somtochukwu Emmanuel and are not responsible for any activity carried out with him for or on behalf of Powell Homes & Shelters Limited. Deal with the above individual at your own risk,” the management added.
Architect Emmanuel reaffirmed that Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd remains dedicated to protecting the interests of its clients and the public by maintaining strict operational integrity and accountability in all real estate transactions.
