A storm has erupted in the marriage of Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels as the billionaire politician publicly accused his wife of drug and alcohol abuse, claiming her alleged violent behaviour has wreaked havoc in his household.
His explosive comments came just hours after a viral video on Saturday showed a tearful Daniels being comforted by friends as she accused her husband of mistreatment.
“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my house, I am a queen. Not again, I cannot stand the violence, it is too much,” Daniels said in the video, which sparked widespread public concern and heated debate online.
In a lengthy statement on his X account, Nwoko described the actress’s recent conduct as “unprovoked carnage and rampage,” alleging that her ongoing battle with substance abuse has plunged their marriage into chaos.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko wrote. “She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs.”
He further alleged that Daniels had physically assaulted members of his household.
“Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting three staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause,” he claimed. “I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence.”
Nwoko said he had given Daniels an ultimatum to accept rehabilitation in Asokoro or abroad — particularly in Jordan — where, according to him, she would have no access to drugs. He also claimed Daniels threatened their resident nurse.
“A clear-headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital, but instead she even threatened to kill our resident nurse for exposing her drug abuse,” he said. “While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann.”
The public clash between the couple — once celebrated as a glamorous union — has now ignited a firestorm of speculation, criticism, and concern about the state of their marriage.
Neither Daniels nor her team had issued a formal response to Nwoko’s allegations at press time.
