The estate of late Senator Simon Cyprian Ayogu Eze, including Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited, has become the subject of an ongoing legal dispute, prompting a strong public warning against any form of business or commercial engagement with the estate pending the outcome of the case.
In a public notice dated January 12, 2026, Adeji Adeyanju disclosed that issues surrounding the administration of the late senator’s estate are currently before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to the notice, the matter is being heard by Honourable Justice Oriji in Suit No. FCT/HC/CV/1008/2025, where the court is expected to adjudicate on disputes relating to the management and control of the deceased’s estate.
“The general public, prospective investors, business partners, banks and other stakeholders are hereby informed that the estate of late Senator Simon Cyprian Ayogu Eze, including Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited (RC: 195105), is presently under litigation,” Adeyanju stated.
He cautioned that, in view of the pending court proceedings, individuals and institutions should refrain from entering into any form of transaction involving Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited or any other component of the late senator’s estate.
“In light of the subsisting court proceedings, members of the public are strongly advised to exercise caution and avoid all business or commercial engagements with Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited or any part of the estate until the determination of the suit,” he said.
Adeyanju further warned that anyone who proceeds with such transactions while the case remains unresolved does so entirely at their own risk.
“Any member of the public who carries on business or commercial transactions with or involving Simonis Ventures Nigeria Limited, or any part of the estate of late Senator Ayogu Eze during the pendency of the legal proceedings, does so at his or her own risk,” he added.
The notice serves as a formal alert to investors, financial institutions and the general public as the legal process over the estate continues before the FCT High Court.
