The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the official timetable and schedule of activities for the 2026 legislative bye-elections in six constituencies across the country, with the party fixing the cost of its senatorial nomination form at ₦20 million.

The schedule, published on Thursday, May 21, 2026, was signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Muhammad Arugungu.

According to the timetable, the affected constituencies include Enugu North Senatorial District in Enugu State, Nasarawa North Senatorial District in Nasarawa State, Ondo South Senatorial District in Ondo State, Rivers South-East Senatorial District in Rivers State, Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in Kano State, and Zuru State Constituency in Kebbi State.

The party said the notice of election to state chapters would commence on Thursday, May 21, 2026, while the sale of nomination forms at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja would run from Wednesday, May 20, to Friday, May 22, 2026.

According to the schedule, the last day for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents is Friday, May 22, while the screening of aspirants and publication of screening results will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

The APC further stated that screening appeals would hold on Sunday, May 24, the same day primary elections are scheduled to take place, while primary election appeals have been fixed for Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Under the party’s approved fees, aspirants seeking House of Assembly tickets are expected to pay ₦6 million, comprising ₦1 million for Expression of Interest and ₦5 million for nomination forms.

House of Representatives aspirants are to pay ₦10 million, while senatorial aspirants will pay ₦20 million, including ₦3 million for Expression of Interest and ₦17 million for nomination forms.

The APC, however, announced concessions for women, youths and persons living with disabilities.

“Female aspirants, youth and physically challenged aspirants are to pay for the Expression of Interest and 50 per cent of the prescribed nomination fees for each position,” the notice stated.

The party also directed that all payments be made directly into designated APC bank accounts provided in the notice.

The publication is expected to formally kick-start political activities and consultations ahead of the legislative bye-elections in the affected states and constituencies.
