Concerned Enugu Youths has extended warm felicitations to a former Governor of Enugu State and former Senator, Chimaroke Nnamani, describing him as an enduring icon of democracy whose contributions to governance remain deeply impactful.
In a birthday message released on Saturday, the group lauded Nnamani’s record in public office, noting that his leadership style left a lasting imprint on key sectors including education, healthcare, and infrastructure development in Enugu State.
“Senator Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani is more than a political leader; he is a trailblazer whose reforms in education, healthcare, and infrastructure reshaped Enugu and set a benchmark for people-centered governance,” the statement read.
The group further recalled his tenure as Governor and later as Senator, highlighting his “bold ideas, fearless advocacy, and consistent commitment to the welfare of the common man.”
According to the youths, Nnamani’s political journey represents a legacy defined by courage, vision, and service to both Ndi Enugu and Nigeria at large.

The group also prayed for continued strength and good health for the former governor, expressing optimism that his experience would continue to benefit democratic governance in Nigeria.
