Roads Opening Up Communities

Atu said road infrastructure has remained a major focus of his representation, noting that his office initially embarked on the grading of rural roads before commencing the construction of strategic road projects across the constituency.

“When we assumed office, one of the first interventions we undertook was the grading of several rural roads across the constituency. Recognizing that road infrastructure is critical to economic growth, accessibility, and community development, we went beyond routine grading to initiate the construction of strategic road networks linking communities and commercial centers,” he said.

According to him, key projects include the Ndafuafa Ndiaga Ugwuaji–Obeagu Community Link Road, the Eke Market–Afor Market Obeagu Road Network, Pa Michael Atu Street Road and Chief Benjamin Street Road, all at various stages of completion.

The lawmaker maintained that his interventions were driven by a desire to improve the quality of life of his constituents and ensure that communities across Enugu North and Enugu South enjoy the dividends of democratic governance.
