The Chief Justice of Nigeria CJN, Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, has announced sweeping reforms aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency and service delivery at the Supreme Court.

Speaking on Monday at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference in Lagos, Justice Kekere-Ekun disclosed that the apex court would soon deploy a National Case Management System (NCMS) to modernise the administration of justice.

According to her, the digital platform will electronically manage cases from the point of filing through hearing and final judgment, significantly improving case tracking, reducing delays and streamlining judicial processes.

Justice Kekere-Ekun said the reform forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the efficiency of Nigeria’s judicial system through technology-driven innovations and improved service delivery at the nation’s highest court.
