Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has approved the appointment of new members and principal officers to several key state institutions as part of efforts to strengthen governance, reform public institutions and improve service delivery.
The appointments were contained in a public service announcement signed by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, on Friday, September 4, 2026.

According to the statement, the appointments affect the Civil Service Commission, the State Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), as well as the governing councils of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu State Polytechnic, Iwollo, and Enugu State College of Education (Technical) (ESCET).

The appointments, Prof. Onyia stated in the announcement, take immediate effect.
The move, according to the statement, is part of Governor Mbah’s ongoing efforts to reform state institutions, strengthen governance and enhance effective service delivery across Enugu State.
