The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has approved the deployment of new Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected commands and formations of the Nigeria Police Force.
The police announced the postings in a statement published on its official X handle on Friday, October 9, 2026, describing the move as part of efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible information and deepen engagement with the media and other stakeholders.
Under the new arrangement, Superintendent of Police Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as the Police Public Relations Officer for Zone 5. He can be reached on 08038773657.
Similarly, SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji has been posted to Zone 11, Osogbo, with 09152481510 provided as his contact number.
The deployment also includes DSP Orchia Adndongu, who has been posted to the Benue State Police Command. Members of the public can contact him on 07013495466.

The Nigeria Police Force said the deployments were intended to ensure effective dissemination of information and promote closer collaboration between the police, the media and members of the public across the affected commands and formations.
