Hon. Ifeanyichukwu Nnamani, the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for Nkanu West Constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, has been honoured by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Enugu State Chapter, as part of activities marking the association’s 50th Golden Jubilee.

The recognition was announced in a congratulatory statement signed by Hon. Chuks Nneji (Senator), Director-General of the Ifeanyichukwu Campaign Organization, following CAN’s Golden Jubilee and Awards Celebration held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the Holy Ghost Catholic Cathedral, Ogui, Enugu.

Nneji described the honour as a recognition of Nnamani’s contributions to grassroots development, community service and human capital development, particularly his medical outreach programmes and support for young entrepreneurs through initiatives such as land grants.

According to him, Nnamani’s impact extends beyond his academic background and industrial experience as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Earthcore Mining and Energy Resources Limited, noting that his closeness to the people and commitment to improving lives distinguish his leadership.

The campaign organisation’s director-general said the award was a fitting recognition of Nnamani’s efforts to support vulnerable people, mentor young people and promote community development.

Nneji also highlighted the significance of the recognition at an event presided over by the Most Rev. Dr. Ernest Anezichukwu Obodo, describing it as an affirmation of the value of service and sacrifice to society.

Congratulating Nnamani on the honour, Nneji expressed hope that the recognition would inspire him to pursue greater achievements in public service and community development.
