Spokesman of Ayogu Eze Compaign Organisation. Ezirigwe Eze has accused the PDP- led government of Enugu State of desperate move to blackout the coming of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to Enugu State.

Eze alleged that reporters of some news organisations were ordered by Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, to play down on the visit of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to the state.
The VP is in Enugu to commission the campaign office of the All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate, Senator Ayogu Eze.
He will also attend the book presentation former Governor Sullivan Chime, who is APC leader in the state.
While condemning the alleged gagging of the media in Enugu state, the APC campaign spokesman said
“reporters confirmed this morning that a text message from the government House, Enugu directed the affected journalists to assembled for an urgent briefing by 8 am”. “Reporters of the state government owned media were directly ordered to stay off the visit”.
According to him, ” at the breakfast meeting Ugwuanyi directed the reporters not to make the visit a big issue.
“In the last one week, the governor had adopted a provocative approach to handling the activities of the opposition APC in the state to the consternation of the federal government”.

“Early in the week, thugs believed to be from the PDP brought down bill boards put in place by the APC and its candidates, the governor denied the owner of Rocana advertising permission to display the APC governorship welcome advert on the billboard along the Akanu Ibiam International airport, Enugu.
This according to him, is in spite of the payment of about 2 million already made to Rocana limited, the statement added.
