Senator Danjuma Goje, a major contender for the senate presidency have reportedly withdrawn from the race.
This was revealed by Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-rufai after they had a closed door meeting with President Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja.
El-rufai revealed this to state house correspondents in company of senators Lawan, Goje and SSA to the president on National Assembly matters, Senator Ita Enang.
Goje have reportedly endorsed senate leader Ahmad Lawan for the office of the senate presidency.
