Journalist101 has been reliably informed that Reverend Father Malachy Asadu who was reportedly kidnapped in Nsukka, Enugu State on Monday has been released by his abductors.
The clergyman of Nsukka Catholic Diocese was kidnapped along Imilike-Nsukka Road while he was said to be returning from a diocesan meeting held at Thereasa Cathedral, Nsukka.
Confirming the news about his release, the Police Public Relations Officer in Enugu State, SP, Ebere Amaraizu said; “Yes, I can confirm that the Reverend Father has regained his freedom.
“I will get back to you shortly with the details of his release,” he said.
