Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, on the 27th of November, stormed the Akanu Ibiam International airport to inspect the ongoing rehabilitation of the runway of the airport to assess the level of work done so far by the construction company handling the project (PW).
During the visit, the Governor met with the Manager, Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, Mrs. Cecilia Oguama, the Project Manager, PW, Mr. Mahbub khan.
The visit is in line with the commitment of the Governor in ensuring that the airport is back to the service of the people within the shortest time possible.
