In compliance with the directive of the Inspector General of police on the nationwide implementation of Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV); the initiative of IGP, Mohammed Abubakar ADAMU which is anchored on community oriented policing, the Ogun state command of the Nigeria police has appointed Sp Clementina Udoro as Ogun state police command POCACOV coordinator.
Similarly, SP Chris Anyanwu has been appointed to take charge of the activities POCACOV as the coordinator in Rivers state.
Before his appointment, SP Anyanwu served as the PRO of Ebonyi state command.
Disclosing these developments to Journalist101, the national coordinator of POCACOV, CSP Ebere Amaraizu said the appointments will catalyze their activities to achieve the aims of the project faster across the federation because he’s certain the remaining 34 states and the FCT will make their coordinators known in the coming days.
