Chief Obiano Chukwuma M. popularly known as Chuks Canada has thrown his weight behind Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices, POCACOV.
Chief Obiano demonstrated his support for POCACOV on Friday, 20th March, 2020, when the National Coordinator of POCACOV, CSP Ebere Amaraizu presented to him the 2,000 exercise books he (Chief Obiano) sponsored it’s production for the spread of the message.
The business mogul who hails from Abagana, in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State while speaking at IGP Mohammed Adamu POCACOV resource centre in Enugu after the presentation said; “POCACOV is a laudable initiative and anyone that means well for the society don’t have any option but to key in into it.
“Today, I’m happy contributing my quota in taking the message down to the grassroot. This is one of my little ways of giving back to the society.
“Like they say; charity begins at home, I will be hitting my hometown; Abagana with the message of POCACOV, immediately the menace of Coronavirus is contained.
“Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices will help sanitize our society and make our youths to shun crime and be more productive,” he said.
Chief Obiano also thanked the Nigeria Police Force under the leadership of IGP Mohammed Adamu for coming up with the initiative.
In his reaction, The National Coordinator of POCACOV, CSP Amaraizu, thanked Chief Obiano for the laudable gesture and enjoined other relevant and well to do stakeholders in the society to borrow a leaf from what Chief Obiano has done and support the Nigeria Police to take the campaign against Cultism and it’s associated vices to every nook and cranny of the country.
