…Commend his compassionate moves and sports development strides
The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) have felicitated with Nigeria’s Minister of Sports and Youths Development, Sunday Dare on his 54th birthday.
CSP Ebere Amaraizu, the National Coordinator of POCACOV, Congratulated the Minister on his numerous Youth and Sports developmental strides in the county since he came in as Sports minister.
According to Amaraizu, “the minister who is also a veteran Nigerian Journalist has done a lot since he assumed duty as the Hon Minister for Sports and Youth Development and Importantly is his Partnership and Support which contributed to the successful hosting of Nigeria Police Games otherwise Known as Anambra 2020 Under the able Leadership of IGP MA Adamu.
“His Compassionate lifestyle was also made manifest when he reached out to the families of late Nigerian football legends, Sam Okwaraji and Rashidi Yekini with a particular reference to the payment of monthly allowance to their aged Mothers.
“The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) is a Police Programme aimed at saving our youth from the claws of cultism and other vices through various engagement programme which is community driven/oriented and working with different stakeholders for a safe and secured environment.
“In this direction, we have strong partnership with the ministry of Sports and Youth Development under his watch which has been yielding positive results,” Amaraizu said.
