•Assures quality and reliable power supply

As part of efforts to sanitise its network, improve turnaround time to fault clearing, enhance service quality and minimise losses, the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has announced the commencement of pole relocation and low tension circuit rearrangement exercise in parts of Trans-Ekulu, Enugu State.

This development was made known on Friday by the Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh in Enugu.

According to Ezeh, the exercise which commenced with the West Road 6 transformer, will continue until the affected transformers within the area are sanitized.

He noted that, “As a result of this development, electricity supply to customers residing at West Road 5, West Road 1, Igwesi Close and Corporation Boulevard will be disrupted during the period of the exercise.”

Ezeh solicited for the support of customers in the affected areas, assuring them that the project, when completed, will deliver quality and reliable power supply and ultimately reduce the level of loss experienced in the areas.

“We regret the inconveniences this will cause our esteemed customers and assure them that supply will be restored once the work is completed,” Ezeh appealed to electricity consumers in the area, adding that “EEDC remains committed to consistently deliver improved services to her esteemed customers.”
