A renowned Plateau State entertainment company based in Jos and identified as JOB B. Entertainment has visited the state Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Egbuka in his office to express their support and partnership with the police in the ongoing campaign against cultism, substance abuse, thuggery/violence, sexual and gender-based violence and other vices as championed by POCACOV throughout the federation.

According to the leader of the group, JOB B, who made this known during the visit, “this is a good initiative by the Police. We commend the Nigeria Police Force and the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu for coming up with a well structured programme which is community driven to address children and youths challenges and also to give them strategic leadership direction for a safe and secured nation.”

They also commended the commissioner of police, Edward Egbuka and his command on their efforts towards enhancing peace, unity, safety and security in the state.

Responding, the police commissioner thanked the group and assured them that his command would continue to collaborate with well-meaning stakeholders and groups like theirs to sensitize and reorient children and youths in the state to shun those negative tendencies which will help to destroy their future.

POCACOV is targeted at engaging the Nigerian children and youths to discourage their involvement in crime and criminality, especially cultism and other vices.

JOB B entertainment is a Jos-based entertainment company involved with peace concert, pride of J.Town, peace and reconciliation.
