The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV), the initiative of the Nigeria Police Force aimed at saving Nigerian children and youths from the claws of cultism, sexual and gender-based violence, substance/drug abuse, thuggery and violence as well as other vices through stakeholders involvement and participation, has congratulated Asefon Sunday Dayo as the newly-elected National President of the National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS).

According to the National Coordinator of POCACOV, CSP Ebere Amaraizu, “POCACOV as a student and youth-oriented unit of the Nigeria Police Force congratulates Comrade Asefon Sunday Dayo on his successful emergence as the national president of the student body (NANS) and assured of POCACOV continual partnership with NANS as a student body to keep sensitizing Nigerian students through stakeholders support and involvement to Improve public Security and safety.

“We must make our campuses and communities safer, peaceful and secured,” stressed Amaraizu as he expressed optimism that the emergence of Asefon Sunday Dayo, who was NAN’s former director of Action Mobilization and former Coordinator NANS Southwest, will help strenghten POCACOV directorate of campus affairs to achieve on its mandate of POCACOV school/community peace building.
