•Dedicates award to Gov Ugwuanyi
The Enugu State commissioner for lands and urban development, Hon. Dr. (Surv.) Victor Chukwuemeka Nnam was on Thursday awarded with a distinguished leadership award by the prestigious Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) Enugu state chapter during the professional organisations annual dinner and award night in Enugu.
The commissioner who was also the chairman of the occasion while declaring the event open, used the opportunity to, once again, thank Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for the privilege he offered him to serve in his government as a commissioner.
In his opening address, the Enugu State Chairman of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) Prof. Uche Ugwuanyi welcomed everyone that graced the event. He also used the opportunity to thank the peace-loving governor of the state for appointing some of their members into strategic positions in his government. He also thanked members of ANAN Enugu State for their support which have translated into having their member’s unanimous reelection for a second term as their chairman.
Presenting the award to the Hon. Commissioner For Lands, the National Chairman of ANAN, Prof. Muhammed Akaro Mainoma, who was represented by the South East Chairman, eulogised the commissioner who he described as “very competent, intelligent and handsome with an intimidating credentials. He is an uncommon transformer who have within his stay as the commissioner for lands, Enugu State, have achieved so much.”
He emphasized that the distinguished leadership award is presented to him based on his achievements and accomplishments which is meritorious.
Responding, Hon. Nnam dedicated the award to the ever-working and most peaceful governor in Nigeria, the Governor of Enugu State who gave him the platform to perform. He thanked the organisers for finding him worthy for the award, assuring them of his support and partnership of his ministry at all times.
Other recipient of the award is the ALGON Chairman Enugu State and the Executive Chairman of Udenu Local Government Council, Hon. Solomon Izuchukwu Onah (JACKSOLO).
