…His kingsmen thanks Gov Ugwuanyi for his appointment

Monday Diamond Anih (Odoziobodo), the Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has offered to provide all the neccesary writing materials needed by all primary school pupils in his community to commemorate his appointment by the Governor.

Comr. Monday Diamond who is also the National President, Nkanu Youth Council announced the offer on Sunday, 10th January, 2021 when he held a thanksgiving service and celebration of his appointment as Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism to the Governor in his Village; Ishiuga Nkerefi, Nkanu East

In his word; “Through my foundation; MONDAY DIAMOND FOUNDATION, I will take care of the cost of the writing materials and the cost of producing the craft work of the Entire Students of Ezuboke Pri School (from Pry 1 to 6) which is made up of pupils from Ishiuga, Umunama and Umuekuma villages.

“Thus, their parents won’t spend any kobo on their children since the government takes care of their tuition fees. By doing this, we want to ensure that no child stays at home for any reason.

He said the gestures are in appreciation to God, the Governor and his kingsmen for his appointment by Governor Ugwuanyi.

At the event which was witnessed by a mammoth crowd despite the short notice, The SA on Culture and Tourism to Governor Ugwuanyi also supported the building project of National Holyghost Church of Christ, Ishiuga Village.

The elated villagers prayed for Comr. Ani and thanked Governor Ugwuanyi fervently, for appointing their Son as one of his SAs.

Those present at the occasion include; Dr GOC Ajah, former SSG, Enugu State and The Chairman, Science Technical Vocational Management Board (STVMB); Rt.Hon. Onyinye Ugwu (Member, Enugu State House of Assembly and the Deputy Leader); Hon. Abel Nwigwe (Deputy Chairman PDP Nkanu East); Hon. Ani Jacob (PDP Nkerefi ward 1 Chairman) with his Excos and notable sons and daughters of Nkerefi.
