The Anambra state Commissioner of Police Monday Kuryas, has indicated his willingness to work with different stakeholders in line with the tenets of the community oriented policing which is in line with the vision and mission of the Nigeria Police Force under IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu.

He made this known in Awka while reacting on the essence of POCACOV initiative of the Nigeria Police Force which is a community policing tool structured to involve different stakeholders to save Nigerian childern and youths from the claws of cultism and other vices.

He stated that community policing requires the involvement of different stakeholders and galvanizing their support to aid in resolving issues within communities and further remarked that POCACOV as a community driven program of the Nigeria Police Force is already with different stakeholders, assuring that as commissioner of police, he will work with different stakeholders to ensure that the issue of crime and criminality within his domain are resolved.

POCACOV as a Nigeria police Force program has been identified as a community policing tool with broad spectrum of stakeholders using community based approach, activity based approach and forum based approach which makes it easier for all satkeholders to be reached and involved in the policing activities of their environment and assured of his maximum support for the Police campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices(POCACOV) to achieve on its mandate using advocacy, awareness creation and sensitization, reorientation and mentoring.
