Ahead of the commencement of the Nationwide League One(NLO) league season for 2021 which begins from 7th March, 2021 across all centres in which South East has its centres at Okigwe and Ngor Okpala in Imo state, the Director South East of the Nationwide League One, Ebere Amaraizu has reminded various participating teams and their officials to ensure they operate within the laid down rules as stipulated by NLO and ensure that COVID-19 tests for players and their officials were duly conducted and results made available at various centres before the commencement of the league, saying it was part of the requirements for participations amongst others.

He stated this in Enugu while reacting on the readiness of the Nationwide league on the commencement of the league at various centres.

He assured that matches will be played and in strict compliance with the COVID-19 Protocols as directed by the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF), COVID-19 Task force as well as the rules governing the league.

“We are starting with NLO Division one league clubsides and already they have been grouped to play each other at their various centres to determine various overall winners of each group to lock horns.

“No fewer than eight teams is expected to lock horns in each of the centres across the federation,”Amaraizu added.
