Nigerian President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) has reaffirmed his Twitter comment that led to the removal of his tweet by Twitter owner, Jack Dorsey.
President Muhammadu Buhari who featured on Thursday morning exclusive Interview with Arise TV media crew said he’s not mistaken in his comment on his Twitter handle about IPOB, which is, “Those of us who spent more that 30 months in the field will teach them in the language they understand.”
He expressed displeasure about the Igbos who are clamouring for the disintegration of Nigeria, adding that this same set of people are scattered throughout the country, going about their businesses and occupying lands and acquiring properties in all the States, yet praying for division of the country.
When asked what he meant by “We will teach them in the language they understand”?
“My government will use military power and policemen to hunt IPOB agitators wherever they’re gathered and brought to book whoever that is causing unrest to the peace of Nigeria”, Buhari said.
President Buhari also talked about several issues ranging from insecurity, fuel subsidy, infrastructure, revenue generation among others.
