Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu on Thursday knocked President Muhammadu Buhari for describing IPOB as a “dot in a circle”.
Mr Kanu, in a tweet, assured the president that although IPOB seemed like a dot in a circle, would be free someday.
Buhari had said during an interview with Arise TV aired on Thursday, “That IPOB is just like a dot in a circle. Even if they want to exit, they will have no access to anywhere.
“And the way they are spread all over the country, having businesses and properties, I don’t think IPOB knows what they are talking about.”
Responding, Kanu wrote, “In his pre-recorded AriseTV interview, the pathetic nitwit passing off as BUHARI described #Biafra as a “dot within Nigeria”. Well, hear this: The Earth is also a dot within the galaxy. The IPOB leader also said Buhari’s alleged refusal to take responsibility for the insecurity in the country was evidence that Nigeria is a “failed state”.
Buhari had in the interview urged governors to do more on improving security in their states.
