The dreaded unknown gunmen have attacked the popular 135 police station in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, freeing all the detainees.
Journalist101 gathered that the gunmen stormed the station around 2am on Monday shooting sporadically before proceeding to release all the suspects in custody which local sources said are more than 30 in number.
The gunmen also set the vehicles in the compound ablaze.
Loveth Odah, Police Public Relations Officer in Ebonyi, confirmed the attack but did not go into details.
