The security measures put in place to checkmate the activities of terrorist in the Northwest region of Nigeria seems not to be yielding the desired results as the heartless invaders continues to have a field day.
Their recent action is the kidnap of 20 women that were on transit in Kaduna state on Monday.
This development was confirmed by the former senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani.
The member of the 8th Senate while announcing the incident decried the failure of the shutdown of telecom services in the area in achieving the desired result.
He went further to reveal via his twitter account, that the women were kidnapped by the terrorists between Zaria and Giwa town.
He tweeted; “This evening, about twenty women have been abducted when terrorists stopped their vehicles between Zaria and Giwa town,Kaduna state.
The suspension of telecom services has not stopped the monstrous scourge of kidnappings and killings.”
