World Football governing body, FIFA, has revealed that all 32 countries that qualified for the 2022 World Cup will receive $1.5m each to prepare for the tournament.

FIFA president, Gianni Infantino disclosed that the football body is targeting a $7bn revenue from the World cup in Qatar as against the $600m previous revenue.

FIFA revealed that the winner of the 2022 world cup will go home with a whooping $42m.

First, second and third place runners up will given a sum of $30m, $27m and $25m respectively.

None of the teams were left out as the football governing body made sure all teams that qualified for the tournament were handsomely rewarded.

Fifth to eighth places will receive $17m.
Ninth to sixteenth placed teams will received $13m.

The last 16teams will not be left out as they will get $9M cash prize.
