Atleast four person have been feared killed as bandits on Tuesday night, reportedly, stormed Ayilamo community, in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.

A source in the community, Paul Akase, who spoke with DAILY POST said he miraculously escaped as the gunmen stormed the community and started shooting indiscriminately when people were fast asleep.

“They came in a large number, started shooting sporadically.

“Many who were fast asleep were confused when they woke up.

“They started running for safety; stray bullets hit some of them,” he said.

A source in the community gave the names of the four victims as: Vaachia Hangeior, Abako Kpeibee, Mtomga Akpi and David Akave.
