Ten Police Officers of the Nasarawa State Command have been kidnapped by armed bandits.
According to EONS INTELLIGENCE, the policies officers were whisked away in Kogi while returning from Osun State governorship election duty.
The incident it was gathered, happened along New Bye pass Road, close to Trailer Park-PTI Obajana, Kogi State at about 1105hrs on Sunday, July 17,2022.
The Police officers vehicle developed a mechanical fault which led them to drop out of their convoy and while trying to fix the vehicle, armed men reportedly emerged from the bush and forcefully kidnapped them.
Anti-Kidnapping teams have been deployed to the area and are currently tracking the bandits for possible rescue of the officers.
