Armed men have raided a primary healthcare centre in the Kuyallo area of Birnin-Gwari Local Government, Kaduna State and abducted nurses and patients.

Reports indicate that the bandits took two female nurses and an unknown number of patients from the facility.

Musa Alhassan, a leader of the local vigilante group, confirmed that the attack occurred around 9 am on Monday, as the assailants arrived armed with guns and other weapons.

Alhassan noted that the bandits had previously invaded the Government Day Secondary School nearby, but finding no one on the premises, they redirected their assault to the adjacent healthcare facility.

As of the time of this report, neither the police nor the Kaduna State government has issued a statement regarding the attack on the healthcare center.
