With the Jands Travel Business School’s 2024 workshop, in collaboration with the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), and the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA), scheduled for November 28-29, organizers have announced the unveiling of award recipients at the event.
Mrs. Chioma Obi, Director of Jands Travel Business School, event convener, and Enugu State Chair of NANTA, made this announcement during a media briefing on Monday. She revealed that a committee has been established for the awards ceremony, with Amb. Emmanuel Ossai appointed as its Coordinator.
Obi stated that the workshop, themed “Exploring A Synergy To Boost Business & Entrepreneurship,” will take place at ECCIMA Hall, ECCIMA Secretariat in Enugu, starting daily at 9 am, with the awards presentation occurring on the second day.
The event has received endorsements from Hon. Barr. Dame Ugochi Madueke, Enugu State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, and the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA).
She encouraged the public to join industry experts, entrepreneurs, and key players in the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors for this enriching two-day event, which promises networking, learning, cultural displays, and opportunities to enhance domestic tourism in Eastern Nigeria.
Amb. Ossai, Coordinator of the Award Committee, explained that the awards aim to recognize individuals who have excelled in their respective professions and the entertainment world.
