The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Enugu State Chapter, has extended their heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State, on his 53rd birthday.
In a statement signed by the Caretaker Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Agatha Agu and Comrade Jude Chinedu, respectively, the committee praised Governor Mbah’s visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to good governance, and steadfast dedication to the progress and prosperity of Enugu State.
“Your Excellency, as you mark this significant milestone, we recognise and celebrate your transformative leadership that continues to reshape governance in Enugu State.
“Your administration’s bold initiatives in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic development have established new benchmarks for growth and innovation,” the statement noted.
The committee especially commended the governor’s landmark projects, including the ongoing construction of 260 smart green schools and 260 primary healthcare centres across all political wards in the state, the ongoing urban renewal projects, the remodelling of the Presidential Hotel Enugu, the completion of the International Conference Centre, the construction of a five-star hotel in the city centre, the development of a 300-bed international hospital currently underway, and strategic efforts to enhance the state’s economy through local and foreign direct investment.
“Your visionary approach to governance and relentless pursuit of excellence have positioned Enugu State as a model of progress. We celebrate your achievements and wish you continued wisdom, strength, and success as you lead the state to even greater heights.
“The NUJ Enugu chapter joins the people of Enugu State in commemorating this special occasion and praying for God’s continued guidance and blessings upon Governor Mbah,” the statement concluded.
