The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of the results for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) re-sit conducted for candidates affected by disruptions at certain centres.
In a statement issued on Sunday, JAMB spokesperson Dr. Fabian Benjamin disclosed that a total of 336,845 candidates were eventually scheduled for the re-sit after excluding sessions from compromised centres and including previously unverified candidates. Out of this number, 21,082 candidates were recorded as absent.
“Despite the ongoing enquiries, performance analysis remains consistent—ranging between 11% in 2013 and 34% in 2016—with results from the past twelve years,” Dr. Benjamin noted.
JAMB advised all candidates who took part in the re-sit examination to proceed to check their results.
