In a landmark collaboration aimed at shaping the future of Nigeria’s aviation and hospitality industries, Phoenix Crest Hospitality Services has teamed up with the Eastwing Youth Foundation (EYF) to power the upcoming Face of Eastwing Project and Aviation Youth Summit 2025.

The summit, slated for August 2025, is designed to train, mentor, and support aspiring young talents—particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in Southeast Nigeria—who seek careers in the aviation and hospitality sectors.

Phoenix Crest Hospitality, a subsidiary of Hospitality Impact, will take an active role in this year’s summit by organizing workshops on career development in hospitality, providing internship placements for top participants, and presenting the prestigious Phoenix Crest Excellence in Hospitality Award during the event.

Speaking on the partnership, Ms. Folashade Folayan, Founder of Phoenix Crest Hospitality, emphasized the significance of the initiative:

“This is more than a sponsorship; it’s a movement to build real career bridges for youth and prepare them for the future of service excellence.”

The summit is expected to attract over 5,000 participants, including school leavers, graduates, and tertiary institution applicants aged 18–30. From an initial shortlist of 50 candidates, 10 finalists will be selected after a pre-summit training in aviation, hospitality, and essential life skills. The overall winner will receive a fully funded aviation scholarship alongside other career-advancing rewards.

The initiative reflects Phoenix Crest’s broader mission—aligned with Hospitality Impact and Tourism—to unify and raise standards across Nigeria’s hospitality landscape through strategic collaborations, leadership development, and innovation.

The project has already garnered strong institutional support from notable partners such as Nigerian Connect, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), LoFish Global Travel & Tours, and Artmatazz Media. In addition, discussions are underway with Air Peace, United Nigeria Airlines, and Ibom Air to secure internship opportunities for high-performing participants.
