Nigerian public health consultant and entrepreneur, Chiesonu Iziga-Eruchalu, has received the prestigious Golden Award of Excellence at the 7th SHE Awards Global 2026 held alongside the 12th Africa Investment and Trade Forum Conference (AFIC12) in Algiers, Algeria.
Dr Chiesonu , who described the recognition as historic and deeply emotional, said she was honoured on one of Africa’s biggest investment stages during the high-profile gathering of African and Arab business and development leaders.
According to her, the award was presented by the President of the Centre for Africa-Arab Investment Development (CAAID) and the President of the African-Arab Women Chamber of Commerce.
“In the heart of Algiers, on one of Africa’s biggest investment stages, I was presented with a prestigious Golden Award of Excellence at the celebrated 7th SHE Awards Global 2026,” she said.
“To receive this honour on the same stage as AFIC12, the 12th Africa Investment & Trade Forum Conference, is nothing short of historic.”
The award recipient described the recognition as more than a personal achievement, saying it symbolised victory for women striving to break barriers and create opportunities for others.

“This award moved me to my core because it is not just a trophy, it is a victory,” she stated.
“A victory for every woman who dared to speak when the room was silent.”
She added that the recognition represented years of resilience, determination, and advocacy for women’s empowerment.
“A testament for every barrier broken, every ceiling shattered, every door pushed open not just for myself, but for every woman walking behind me,” she said.
Encouraging women to remain confident and ambitious despite criticism or limitations imposed by society, Dr Chiesonu declared:
“To every woman who has ever been told she is too loud, too ambitious, too much, this is for you. Keep going! The world is waiting for your golden moment too!”

Chiesonu who’s also the Managing Director of Glozig Limited and TConsult360 further expressed gratitude for the honour and thanked supporters who had stood by her journey.
“I am deeply grateful. I am overwhelmed with joy and above everything else — thank God with me,” she added.
Dr. Iziga-Eruchalu is a public health consultant, certified business and public administrator, researcher, and humanitarian known for her work in healthcare advocacy, enterprise development, and women empowerment initiatives.
