The Executive Chairman of Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area and Deputy Chairman of ALGON in Enugu State, Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, has congratulated renowned philanthropist and humanitarian, Alhaji Jimoh Rauf Badamosi, popularly known as JRB, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, describing him as a symbol of compassion, generosity and selfless service to humanity.

In a statement issued on Tuesday on behalf of the government and people of Igbo-Eze South LGA, Ukwueze praised Badamosi for his sustained humanitarian interventions and investments in education, infrastructure, women empowerment and human capital development across communities.

The council chairman said JRB’s contributions to society align strongly with the development-driven vision of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, whose administration, he noted, has continued to prioritise people-oriented governance through strategic investments in critical sectors.

“What Alhaji Jimoh Rauf Badamosi represents in humanitarian service perfectly complements the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, who has continued to champion people-oriented governance through massive investments in infrastructure, quality education, economic empowerment and inclusive development,” Ukwueze stated.

He particularly commended Badamosi’s commitment to educational advancement through scholarship schemes and other youth-focused interventions aimed at empowering the younger generation.

“At a time when access to quality education remains a major challenge for many families, Alhaji Badamosi has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment towards investing in the future of the younger generation. His support for education is not merely charitable; it is visionary and transformational,” he said.

The Deputy ALGON Chairman also lauded the philanthropist’s footprint in infrastructural development and community support initiatives, saying his interventions have improved living standards and strengthened socio-economic growth in several communities.

“From infrastructural projects to women empowerment programmes and humanitarian outreach initiatives, Alhaji Badamosi has continually distinguished himself as a compassionate leader with deep concern for the welfare and advancement of humanity. His actions reflect genuine empathy and an enduring desire to make society better for all,” Ukwueze added.

He further described JRB as a humble and accessible personality whose influence transcends wealth and status, noting that his impact is rooted in his sincere dedication to touching lives positively.

“In every sense, Alhaji has become a symbol of generosity, hope and social responsibility. His life exemplifies the profound impact one individual can make when driven by compassion and genuine love for humanity,” the chairman remarked.

Reaffirming the admiration of the people of Igbo-Eze South for the celebrant, Ukwueze said Badamosi’s legacy of philanthropy and service would continue to inspire future generations.

“We celebrate a distinguished humanitarian, a bridge-builder and a man of exceptional benevolence whose contributions to societal development remain invaluable. His birthday presents another opportunity to appreciate a life devoted to service, empowerment and the upliftment of humanity.

“We pray for God’s continued blessings upon Alhaji Jimoh Rauf Badamosi, wishing him good health, greater accomplishments and many more fruitful years in service to humanity and society at large,” he concluded.
