Organisers of the forthcoming Nzuko Umu Ntorobia N’ Southeast 2026 have announced the constitution of a high-powered Advisory Board Committee comprising prominent political leaders, technocrats, youth advocates, business figures, and community stakeholders from across the South-East region.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on May 15, 2026, by the Convener of the initiative, Humphrey Edeh, popularly known as Ijele Ndigbo, who described the committee as a strategic body expected to provide guidance, mentorship, and institutional support towards the successful hosting of the regional youth summit.

According to Edeh, the committee was carefully assembled to strengthen the credibility of the programme and advance its core mission of promoting youth development, regional unity, leadership, and socio-economic transformation across the South-East.

“As part of preparations for the forthcoming Nzuko Umu Ntorobia N’ Southeast 2026, I am pleased to announce the distinguished personalities nominated to serve on the Advisory Board Committee,” he stated.

He explained that the Advisory Board would play a critical role in shaping the direction and impact of the summit.

“The Advisory Board Committee will provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and institutional support to ensure the success and credibility of the event, in line with our mission to advance youth development and unity across the Southeast,” Edeh added.

The Convener further commended members of the committee for accepting to serve, expressing confidence in their ability to deliver meaningful contributions to the success of the event.

“We appreciate these distinguished personalities for accepting to serve. Their wealth of experience will be instrumental in delivering a credible and impactful Nzuko Umu Ntorobia N’ Southeast 2026,” he said.

The organisers noted that the summit is expected to attract young leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and stakeholders from across the South-East to deliberate on issues bordering on youth empowerment, leadership, innovation, regional integration, and development.

Edeh reaffirmed the commitment of the organisers to building a strong platform capable of inspiring a new generation of visionary leaders in the South-East.

“We are determined to create a movement that will empower young people, strengthen unity, and position the Southeast for sustainable growth, progress, and transformation,” he added.
