The family of Captain Everest Nnaji, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Odengene Air Shuttle Services Limited (OAS Helicopters), will on Saturday, August 29, 2026, lay his elder brother, Chief Augustine Nnaji, to rest in Enugu State.

Chief Augustine Nnaji, who died at the age of 66, is being remembered by his family as a father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

According to the funeral arrangements released by the family, the funeral service and interment will take place on Saturday, August 29, at Holy Innocent Catholic Church, Amagunze, Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., while his interment will follow at his residence.

A wake-keep will be held on Friday, August 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the residence of the deceased in Uzam, Isienu, Amagunze, Nkanu East, Enugu State.

The family will also hold a thanksgiving service on Sunday, August 30, at 8:00 a.m. at Holy Innocent Catholic Church, Amagunze.

Captain Everest Nnaji, the deceased’s younger brother, is a prominent Nigerian aviation entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of OAS Helicopters, formerly known as Odengene Air Shuttle Services Limited, an indigenous aviation company incorporated in 1992.

The burial is expected to bring together family members, friends, associates, business partners and well-wishers to honour the life and legacy of the late Chief Augustine Nnaji.

The funeral arrangements were announced by his son, Ebuka Joel Nnaji and Capt. Everest Nnaji on behalf of the family.
