The Enugu State Government has commenced the process for the disposal of selected government assets in Enugu and Lagos, inviting interested and competent bidders to submit bids for their purchase.

The invitation was issued by the Enugu State Ministry of Finance and Economic Development in line with the provisions of the Enugu State Public Procurement Law, 2021, and signed by the Commissioner for Finance.

The assets listed for disposal include properties belonging to the Enugu State Water Corporation, Enugu State Broadcasting Service (ESBS), Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, and the state’s Liaison Office in Lagos.

The ministry said prospective bidders seeking detailed information about the assets should contact the Head of Department, Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS), on 08064062873, or the Office of the Permanent Secretary on 08036476047.

According to the invitation, completed bid documents must be submitted on or before Friday, August 28, 2026, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid Document.” Bidders are also required to write their names on the reverse side of the envelopes.

The sealed bids are to be addressed to the Commissioner, Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Old Eastern House of Assembly Complex, GRA, Enugu, Enugu State.

The bids will be publicly opened at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Enugu.

The ministry said the exercise forms part of the state government’s procurement process for the disposal of the specified assets in accordance with applicable public procurement regulations.
