The iDICE Skill-to-Job Training Programme has opened applications for 20,000 free certified training opportunities for youths across the 17 Local Government Areas of Enugu State.
The programme, which was announced on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, is designed to equip participants with practical and market-relevant skills while creating pathways to employment, income generation and entrepreneurship.
According to the programme organisers, applicants can choose from three major training pathways: Digital and Online Skills, Applied Technology and Trades, and Business and Entrepreneurship.
The Digital and Online Skills pathway covers areas including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Customer Experience, Virtual Assistance, Digital Marketing, Data, Information Technology Support, Software and other digital services.
The Applied Technology and Trades pathway offers training in Animation and Creative Production, Fashion, Leather and Footwear, Automotive, Solar and Green Technology, as well as other practical and technical skills.
Under the Business and Entrepreneurship pathway, participants will be trained in Business Development, Financial Management, Sales, Digital Commerce, Market Access and Enterprise Management.
The programme said the opportunities are open to students, graduates, job seekers, creatives, artisans and entrepreneurs across Enugu State.
“Don’t just learn a skill. Learn a skill that can lead to a job, income or business. Apply today,” the programme organisers said.
The organisers further urged interested youths to take advantage of the opportunity, describing the initiative as a pathway to career advancement, economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods.
The programme is anchored on the theme, “Bulie ọkwa gị — Elevate your career. Build your future.”
