Enugu State police command has arrested suspects who specializes in scouting of dead and decomposing animals and selling same to the public has been arrested.
The suspects that operates in connivance with cold room stores operators were nabbed at Agbogugu axis of Enugu state by the operatives of Mbanabo Division of the Enugu state police command.
The Suspects, who are currently undergoing serious interrogation were nabbed based on intelligence investigations on 2/10/19.
The police PRO, SP, Ebere Amaraizu told Journalist101 that; “the arrest of the suspects also led to the recovery of dead and decomposing meat which they usually sell to the unsuspecting members of the public.”
The police Spokesman also said that, “the commissioner of police Ahmad Abdurrahman, has directed for a full scale investigations in relation to the alleged nefarious activities of the suspects just as suspects are helping the operatives in their investigations.”
