Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State who announced earlier on the 30th of March that he has tested positive for COVID-19 is now negative.
The Governor disclosed this on his Twitter page on Sunday.
He said “This evening, I received my second negative test result for COVID-19.
“I especially thank Prof Temitope Alonge, who acted in my stead as Head of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force.
The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed who was the first governor to had tested positive for the pandemic has also tested negative following a second examination by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
