Actress Nkechi Blessing has said that Odumeje’s inability to express himself in correct English does not make him a fake prophet.

Nkechi said this during a recent chat with Big Brother Naija reality star Uriel Oputa in which she defended the Onitsha-based cleric whose real name is Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere.

She said: “The first time I had an encounter with Odumeje, I was shocked to my bone marrow, the man will tell you everything about your life. He is not just telling you, he is giving you the solution.

“He is a true man of God I am saying it here categorically. Because of the fact that he does not know how to communicate well in good English, does not make him a fake pastor.

The controversial preacher has been called an entertainer by many due to his hilarious display and utterances which many Christians have tagged “worldly and ungodly.”

The cleric was recently criticised by gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan who described his popular slangs as a mockery of the Christian faith.

This comes after Odumeje said he is going to he will use his “powers” to combat the current economic hardship.

The “powers” Odumeje claims he possesses include fictitious names such as ” Cidaniel, Santus Sanatorial, Ribadu, Gandu Gagadusha, Dabush Kabash, Lebadushe Lemande, Indaboski Bahose” and “Abido Shaker” of which the latter has gone viral on social media as TikTok users have been creating content and memes with the cleric’s speech.
