Legislative aides to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and the executive members of the Reality Organization, Abia State Chapter, held a strategic joint meeting on Saturday to reinforce grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting took place in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
According to organizers, the meeting aimed to solidify support structures for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, described by participants as “the People’s Senator.”
Speaking on behalf of Senator Kalu, his legislative aides commended the Reality Organization leadership for their “doggedness and unwavering commitment” to the cause.
“We are proud of your efforts across the 17 local government areas. On behalf of the Senator, we assure you that all necessary logistics will be provided to ensure seamless grassroots engagement,” one of the aides said during the meeting.
Zonal leaders and LGA chairpersons from across the state reaffirmed their dedication to deepening grassroots mobilization, pledging unflinching loyalty to both President Tinubu and Senator Kalu.
“We are fully committed to the success of our party and leaders. The Reality Organization remains a key vehicle for political awareness and mobilization in Abia,” a zonal leader declared.
The meeting also featured the passage of a vote of confidence on both President Bola Tinubu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. Participants urged the senator to remain focused and resilient in his commitment to the development of Nigeria, the South East, and particularly Abia North Senatorial District.
“We encourage our Senator to stay dogged and unshaken. The goals of socio-political and economic progress remain central to our mission,” the leadership stated in a resolution.
The session ended with a motion for adjournment moved by Chief Prince Onwukwe Uwakwe and seconded by Comrade Iyke Egbulam, the Isuikwuato LGA Chairman of the Reality Organization. Closing prayers were then offered to conclude the gathering.
With a rallying cry, organizers emphasized that the task of delivering victories for Tinubu and Kalu in 2027 remains a top priority.
“The collective task of delivering His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the People’s Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, remains sacrosanct,” they concluded.
